SLJ Week 1 Day 4 Activity 1

I have learnt that Serena Williams was born on the 26th of September 1981 In Saginaw, Michigan. I have also learnt Serena Williams parents are Richard and Oracene Williams had five daughters. The last thing I have learnt from the video is the Williams Family moved to compton, california. I would like to know how Serena started playing Tennis?

    Hi Xanthe

    You have found out some really great facts about Serena. She really is an amazing tennis player. I actually watched her last night on TV. She is currently in Auckland playing in a New Zealand tennis tournament.

    I have been to the Australian Open in Melbourne and seen her sister Venus play in person. She was pretty awesome too.
    I did not know that there were 5 daughters in the family. I wonder what the other sisters do? We know that two of them play tennis.

    Do you like to play tennis? Have you played before?

    I like to play but I am not very good at it! I love watching it i=on TV though.
