Our amazing ANZAC writing

This is our ANZAC writing that we did last term and how we made it. I learn’t how to make a piece of paper look old so we could make our writing look old. Here is a picture.

It's a long process but the finishing product looks really cool.

This is how we made it.

We made it by writing letters on our computers from a perspective that makes us look like a nurse or a soldier I picked soldier. Then we got pieces of paper covered it in tea bags and sprinkled it with a burst teabag. Then we let it dry. Once it was dry we had to write down what we had written on our computer on the old pieces of paper with a pencil.. Then we got pictures of the war and cut out poppies. Lastly we glued the writing, the photos and poppies on to a black piece of paper.

Would you do this art for ANZAC day? Do you now what ANZAC stands for?

  1. Hi Xanthe its Renny here. I really like the letters because they look old. Next time you could show your story closer so we can read it or tell us a little bit about it? I really like the pictures of the solders. How long did it take you to make the letter? From Renny

  2. Hello, It's Elizabeth here and I just wanted to say Wonderful work. I really like your letter. Why did you choose to pick soldier instead of a nurse? What was your favorite part of doing the letter?
