This is my slide of facts about Ian Ferguson. Ian Ferguson is amazing at racing in a Canoe. He has a heap of cool memorable medals. He has four Gold medals and one Silver. We have been learning how to research about people and this time it was an Olympian.
There aren't many names as big and Ian Ferguson when it comes to Canoeing. Many kiwis want to be like him when they grow up. I really enjoyed researching about Ian Ferguson he has a really cool ability and strength. Ian Ferguson always have a bunch of momentum and won 4 out of 5 Olympics. Who is your favourite Olympian?

Hi Xanthe, this is a great post about Ian Ferguson - an interesting choice, I thought. Ian was amazing to watch, as I remember watching him! These guys are so dedicated, they are truly inspiring. I don't know if I have an favourite Olympian, as I like a lot of Olympian's for different reasons, but one who stands out for me is Mark Todd and his horse Charisma. They also won 2 golds at back to back Olympics, in 1984 and 1988. What is your favourite sport to watch at the Olympics Xanthe?
