Self Portrait

Description: The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait. We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page. Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in. This was tricky because it’s hard to do the background because you might color in your picture. Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent. We did this so you could see your eyes and lips and nose. We used the magnifying tool to make it bigger so then we can concentrate. I’m happy with the way my jacket and my pounamu looks on my self portrait because I had lots of help to get it right I will have to work on my out lining Thank you for reading my blog post. Have you ever tried to draw your own self portrait? If not, I hope you will have a go and share your effort with me.

Adventure writing

On Wednesday I went into the fort and I had an adventure in the ditch with Deegan. The fort has heaps of leaves and green trees and sticks and bamboo sticks. It has a forest  like the scary woods because it is dark and it has shadows. It has a Fort Care Code and some stuff that is on it is “don't pull on the plants that are growing” and “digging only in the sand pit”. Sometimes we find huts and people to play with and to have fun with. It is fun inside the fort because it has heaps of steep hills and places to have an adventure and has obstacles that you have to go over and  under.
