During her flight from syria she made the dangerous sea crossing between Turkey and Greece
at one point at swimming for her life when the boat's motor failed.
Now she is visiting refugees in sicily.
Most of the people in the sicily had pretty hard stories and hard trips to get there.
Because of war, because of problems in their contries. She was trying not to be sad.

You have recalled some key facts about Yusra’s story. I like that you have recognised that she was brave, not only because of what happened during her journey from Syria, but also because she is trying to not be sad about the war between their countries. What I also think is amazing, is that she is now helping other refugees, especially refugee women and their families.
What did she do during her journey from Syria that was so amazing?
